About The Event

The Empathy Cafe is an opportunity to explore and learn  empathy and self connection skills in community.

These evenings are aimed to support you in developing differnt modalities for deepening connection, undestanding and trust through the art of listening.

We will learn and practice active listening skills in pairs, groups and also on  our own.

You will be invited to journal, draw, share, listen and learn in community and you are invited to join us at the local pub afterwards to continue to connect.

If you want to develop closer connections with your loved ones

To understand yourself more clearly

To forge new friendships & be a part of a compassionate community,

To practice and expand on your current listening skills

Feel more confident about expresing yourself

Be more attentive to your clients

Then the empathy cafe experience is for you.

You do not need to have any prior experience with compassionate communication to join these evenings.

If you have attended more than 6 evenings at the Empathy Cafe, you are also invited to join us for our online practice group, meeting every 2nd Monday evening.

You will receive the full address once booking. The Empathy Cafe is mostly held at my home in North London N89NA

Agreements:

The Empathy Cafe is an experience which is nourished by the openess and honesty that people feel safe to bring into the space each week.

This is made possible by holding a strong intention to keep confidentiality about those who attend and what they sharewith you and within the group. Sharing of your personal experience at the Empathy Cafe is very welcome and can support others to imagine what it might be like should they enjoy joining us next time.

Please also practice self responsibility by engaging with each practice or suggestion with choice and awaeness of what feels good for you. I will remind you of this as we go, so that you can choose how much you want to share and what feels safe to explore within the session.
