We will learn and practice active listening skills in pairs, groups and also on our own.
You will be invited to journal, draw, share, listen and be a part of a community of people, dedicated to compassionate and authentic relating.

Agreements:
The Empathy Cafe is an experience which is nourished by the openness and honesty that people feel safe to bring into the space each week.
This is made possible by holding a strong intention to keep confidentiality about those who attend and what they share with you and within the group. Sharing of your personal experience at the Empathy Cafe is very welcome and can support others to imagine what it might be like should they enjoy joining us next time.
Please also practice self responsibility by engaging with each practice or suggestion with choice and awareness of what feels good for you. I will remind you of this as we go, so that you can choose how much you want to share and what feels safe to explore within the session.
